How do I send you my film?

Accepted Answer

A shipping label will be emailed to you automatically upon checkout for film development. Print out the label and attach it to a small box or bubble mailer with your film inside. From there, simply drop off the package at your local USPS, or right in your mailbox for pickup.

How long does it take to get my film back?

Accepted Answer

It can take up to 5-6 business days to get the film developed, scanned, and uploaded to your account. This window is from when we receive the film, not when it is shipped. Please note that B&W, E-6, and ECN-2 film will have a longer turnaround.

How do I get my film on the app?

Create an account at indisposable.app/join via your web browser or the iPhone app. You can do this before or after checkout, but please make sure to use the same email for checkout that you use to sign up for the app.

What types of film do you develop?

We develop every type of disposable camera (waterproof, color, B&W, and expired), 35mm film in C-41, B&W, E-6, and even ECN-2, and we can also develop all the above film types in 120 and 620 format. We do not develop Advantix, 110 film, Kodachrome, or souped film.

Can I send in expired film for development?

Yes, you can send in expired film for development, but the results vary depending on the age and storage of the film. We like to say it is always worth a shot! We will send a partial credit if it is blank.

Question 6

Can you scan half-frame film?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we can scan half-frame film. Just check out as normal. Most labs charge more because it takes twice as long to scan double the images, but we do not charge extra.

Question 7

What are negatives? Should I get them back?

Accepted Answer

Your negatives are the physical film within the film canister that we develop. You can elect to have your negatives shipped back to you after development for an additional fee.

What happens if my film is blank?

Accepted Answer

With blank film, we offer a $5 credit towards your next purchase in the form of a gift card, or a $10 credit if you elected to have your negatives shipped back.

Question 9

How do I check out if I want to send in several rolls?

Accepted Answer

You will need to add one development/scanning charge for every roll of film or camera you would like to get developed. For example, if you have two rolls of 35mm and one disposable camera, that would be three processing charges.

Will I get an email when the film is ready?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You will receive an email letting you know the film is ready, along with a link to download the photos to your device. You can also access the film via the Indisposable mobile app, or via indisposable.app in your web browser.
